Aspirin

Use aspirin to remove pesky sweat stains from your favorite shirt. Crush a couple of pills and mix with 1/2 cup of warm water. Soak the stain in the aspirin solution and wait 2 hours before laundering as usual.

Salt

Salt also works well for this chore. Dissolve a couple tablespoons of salt in about 4 cups of hot water. Rub the stain in the salty water until it has lifted.

Vinegar

Pour vinegar directly on the sweat stain and rub it in with a toothbrush. Then launder as usual and repeat if needed.

Ammonia

Soak the sweat-stained garment in cold water to loosen the stain before trying to remove it. After the stain has soaked for about 30 minutes, blot it with an ammonia solution. Make this solution with 1 part water and 1 part ammonia cleaner and blot the stain with a cloth or sponge.
